Homeostasis Checklist
– It takes 5 things!

Although organisms need water, blood, oxygen, heat and pressure, the presence of these factors alone is not enough to ensure their survival.

Both the quantities and the qualities of such factors are also important. For example, the amount of water entering and leaving an organism must be regulated, as much the concentration of oxygen in the body fluids.

Similarly, survival depends on the quality as well as the quantity of food available – that is, it must supply the correct chemicals in adequate amounts.

1. Oxygen

Breathe.

You do this naturally all day. Make sure you are always breathing through the nose 24/7. The nose warms, slows down the air to the brain and filters the air.

Did you know our skin breathes in more oxygen than our nose or mouth? It’s the largest organ that is constantly absorbing and excreting. For more fun facts about how you can help your skin breathe and heal better go to Lard, Oils & Fats.

9 nasal inhales a day help your body mechanics get back to nose breathing.

2. Water

Hydrate.

Water improves the level of pressure on the inside of you to help T-cells (bug killers gooo after disease like cancer)

Check this amazing video out show what hydration does for the body to fight disease on a daily basis:

3. Heat

Move.

Movement creates friction, pressure and helps your heart pump and clean your blood more easily.

Walking 20 minutes a day helps heat inside your body balance.

4. Blood

Eat.

Eating creates new blood cells.

Eat 3 meals a day.

  • Breakfast before 9:30am
  • Lunch 11:00am-2:00pm
  • Dinner 5:00pm-8:30pm

5. Pressure

You know your pressure is good when you sleep well. Review the previous list of Homeostasis requirements and see which one is lacking. Try it for 10 days and if you still can’t sleep well review these pages for some help:
