Tongue Tie Affects your Whole Body from Head to Toe
What is a Tongue Tie?
What Is a Tongue-Tie?
Tongue-tie, or ankyloglossia, is a birth condition where the lingual frenulum (the strip of skin under the tongue) is unusually short or tight. This limits the tongue’s movement and can cause various problems.
If you were to follow the fibers of the Tongue tie tissue it connects to the toes impacting normal posture function. Without treatment, tongue-tie can affect your oral health, speech, teeth placement, and nutrition which effects everything from sleeping and sitting uncomfortably to anxiety and looping hormonal issues.
Symptoms of Tongue Tie/Lip Tie
Women
P.M.D.D. (and other Hormone Imbalances)
Mouth restrictions encourage PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoria Disorder). This makes estrogen levels increase during 14 days of the month. It looks manic part of the month and the other part of the month looks like depression.
PMDD if not balanced by food, water and sleep routine leads to substance addictions, repeating habits, looping thoughts and getting involved with impulsive relationships. It’s a hormone disconnect (lack of repair and mend or Rest and Digest).
Usually a Medical Doctor would not correlate tongue/lip ties with hormone imbalance or autoimmune disease because of their training. Please ask your doctor for diagnosis and solutions in regard to your whole body not just to mask the symptoms. Ask them more questions.
- Depressed mood, sadness, hopelessness, or feelings of worthlessness
- Increased anxiety, tension, or the feeling of being on edge all the time
- Mood swings
- Self-critical thoughts, increased sensitivity to rejection
- Frequent or sudden tearfulness
- Increased irritability, anger, or both
- Conflict with family, coworkers, or friends
- Decreased interest in normal activities
- Concentration problems
- Fatigue, lethargy, or lack of energy
- Changes in appetite, such as binge eating, overeating, or craving certain foods
- Changes in sleep pattern, such as excessive sleeping or difficulty sleeping
- Feelings of being overwhelmed or out of control
- Physical symptoms, such as breast swelling or tenderness, headaches, joint or muscle aches, weight gain, and bloating
96% of Women with Breast Cancer have Oral/Dental Issues
Heavy metals, root canals, leaking mercury or cavities are all induced by mouth restrictions.
What leaks in the mouth goes into the breasts, lymphnodes in the armpits and slowly into shoulder/neck area.
If this hits a chords please go get a consulation to see if you have oral restrictrions.
Sleep Disorders
The effects of tongue-tie
Depending on the severity, tongue-tie can be a serious obstacle in your development that needs to be corrected and healing recovery no matter what age.
A restricted tongue can lead to improper positioning in the mouth, potentially causing the tongue to fall back and block the airway, contributing to conditions like sleep apnea.
- Disrupted
- Restless sleep
- Snoring
- Frequent waking during the night
Headaches
Tongue-tie casuses tension in the cranial nerve and impinges on blood vessel underneath the tongue restricting blood flow to head. This brings constant tension headaches.
Looping/Anxiousness
Tongue-tie casuses tension in the cranial nerve and impinges on blood vessel underneath the tongue restricting blood flow to head. This brings constant tension headaches.
Increased irritability, anger, or both
Hormones rely on signals from Pituitary Gland and Hypothalamus. If the tongue restricts blood flow you get an imbalance.
The hypothalamus has the function of regulating certain metabolicprocesses and other activities of the autonomic nervous system. It synthesizes and secretes certain neurohormones, called releasing hormones or hypothalamic hormones, and these in turn stimulate or inhibit the secretion of hormones from the pituitary gland. The hypothalamus controls body temperature, hunger, important aspects of parenting and maternal attachment behaviours, thirst,[4] fatigue, sleep, circadian rhythms, and is important in certain social behaviors, such as sexual and aggressive behaviors.[5][6] Source: Wikipedia
Bladder Control
We are symmetric. If we have a tongue tie, we have pelvic floor muscle restrictions.
Left Hip Pain
Mouth restrictions encourage Left Hip Pain because the left side of us it tugged by the tongue tie in the mouth…constantly.
Chronic Root Canals, Cavities or Oral Infections
The recent Netflix movie Root Cause has sparked the link between root canal treatments and various health issues.
The story follows a young man whose chronic fatigue improved only after the extraction of his root canal-treated tooth and additional holistic treatments. Several experts in the film highlighted key points that support the connection between oral health and overall wellbeing, such as:
- 98% of women with breast cancer had root canals on the same side as the tumor.
- 70-90% of medical problems are thought to originate from the mouth.
- 96% of cancer patients had infected teeth on the same energy circuit as their cancer.
- Root canal-treated teeth are often seen as the leading cause of heart attacks and chronic illness because they harbor dead tissue, bacteria, and toxins.
These experts share compelling case studies of patients whose health improved after addressing dental issues, including kidney infections, back pain, and even autoimmune conditions like Hashimoto’s disease. They argue that removing root canal-treated teeth and using alternatives like Zirconia implants or bridges could drastically improve health.
While these claims may seem alarming, it’s important to consult with a dentist who can provide an informed and balanced perspective. If you’re concerned about the impact of dental treatments on your health, speaking to a dental professional will help determine the best course of action for your unique situation. Don’t hesitate to schedule a consultation with your dentist for a thorough evaluation.
Men
Prostate Issues/Cancer
Depending on the severity, tongue-tie can be a serious obstacle in your development that needs to be corrected and healing recovery no matter what age.
Without intervention, tongue-tie can cause scar tissue build up from tap water.
Why? For Men the plumping is head, spine, prostate, penis and anus. If you have a tongue tie the waste builds up in the back of prostate/bladder and then kidneys.
Kidney Stones
Do to the spine, kidneys and brain connection, the kidneys can’t filter the waste of medication toxicity, heavy metals or other endocrine distrubtors leading to less blood flowing through the muscles restriction of the head/tongue tie to the kidneys for their proper function to filter waste.
Swallowing, Chewing Difficulties
When learning to chew, it’s necessary to be able to move the food to the teeth. This is done with the tongue, so if it’s mobility is limited by the frenulum, it can become difficult to grind solid foods. Thus, leading to digestive issues, choking on dry foods like chicken or fish if not cooked with oil or fats.
Infants
Unable to Latch (Breast Feeding)
Common symptoms include trouble with breastfeeding, speech, and sometimes dental issues. Tongue-tie may not be obvious at birth, so a professional diagnosis is important. I would take my babies to get a consulation no matter what. If untreated, it can affect a child’s speech, oral health, and nutrition.

Youth
Needs Spacers, Braces, TMJ surgery or Mouth Guard?
Before going down the path like I did, please consult for a tongue/lip tie. It will save you years of braces, surgeres, invisaline, mouth gaurds and headaches that are involved with tons of money going out your pocket with no solutions.
As someone who did the TMJ surgery, braces and myfascial stretches, retainers, mouth gaurds…none of it worked.
These things lead to an unresolve infection, bone loss and mold/fungus exposure that got stuck behind my muscles in the tongue creating red bumps on my face.
The solution 15 years later of frustration and pain…was a tongue tie revision.
Acne
Before going down the path like I did, please consult for a tongue/lip tie.
Acne is not as hormonal as everyone suggests. Acne is from mold/fungus and waste not exiting the chin/face. Please see if your daughter or son have a tongue tie before going on any medication or dieting.

FAQ
Which laser is best for tongue/lip tie revisions?
LiteTouch™ Dental Laser made in Israel is better than Waterlase made in China.
The LiteTouch™ Er:YAG Dental Laser 2,940nm wavelength, is optimally absorbed in water and highly absorbed in hydroxyapatite which are the two main chromophores in the Dentin, Enamel, Bone and Soft tissue. With these excellent absorption characteristics, LiteTouch™ Er:YAG easily ablates, cuts and decontaminates hard and soft tissues and is used in all specialties in dentistry.
PerioLase is used instead of sutures.
The PerioLase MVP-7 is a 6-watt free-running variable pulsed Nd:YAG dental laser featuring digital technology and 7 pulse durations — the most available on the market — to treat gum disease and regenerate the bone and tissues destroyed by periodontitis. With unique features and powerful software algorithms, the PerioLase MVP-7 features all the capabilities you need to safely, efficiently and effectively perform the LANAP® and LAPIP™ protocols, as well as a wide range of other soft tissue and hard tissue laser Valued-Added Procedures (VAPS).
Waterlase is the second best.
Introducing Waterlase iPlus Premier Edition™, the industry-leading all-tissue laser
system designed to revolutionize dental procedures with its unparalleled precision
and versatility. Waterlase is capable of rapid, precise, and clean removal of target
tissues — without heat damage, fractures, and no smear layer.
CO2 laser is the last resort as it has a different frequency and is hotter leaving the risk of scar tissue and need for sutures because it does not use water.
Why Does it Matter as an Adult? "I'm too old."
Just recently, a 69 year old client got water laser and it stopped her grinding and snoring.
Tongue posture effects hip Posture, bladder control for women, and prostate issues for men – it does not matter how old you are.
The speaker in this video promotes mouth gaurds, however, the solution we have found be 100% more successful is Tongue Tie Release.
Is there a cheaper way?
I wish I got a Tongue Tie release before spending 15 years of a growing infection, dead tooth and skull injury from TMJ surgery, when it never helped the health issues I was having listed below:
- Left knee problems
- Right back leg pain
- Specific infection from TMJ surgery weakness
- Strep carrier
- 4 sinus infections a year
- Skipped Periods
- Insomnia
I had an unresolved tongue tie the whole time. Just for your information TMJ is not recommended by dentists anymore unless they were trained to know the whole body is one piece.
I’m so thankful for the Tongue Tie release, it was life changing as it changed my whole posture from head to toe reliving me from a uncomfortable positions and constant fidgeting in my daily life.
What if I am just an anxious person and it has nothing to do with tongue tie?
Mouth restrictions cause anxiousness.
Due to the restrictions there is no blood pumping through your Pituitary Gland, the antidepressant hormone release gland.
That’s why when we skip meals or have four bites of a bar, not drink water and not sleep …this leads to depression or anxiety heightens for everyone. The lack of chewing ignites Fight or Flight and shows we are bloodless or in Leviticus terms “lifeless.”
But if you have a tongue tie/lip tie it’s like swimming against the water flow of Niagara Falls.
Tongue affects the whole body? To My Toes? Explain that better
The DFL plays a major role in the body’s support:
- Lifting in the inner arch;
Stabalizing each segment of the legs, including the hip; - Supporting the lumbar spine from the front;
- Surrounding and shaping the abdominopelvic balloon;
- Stabalizing the chest while allowing the expansion and relaxation of breathing
- Balancing the fragile neck and heavy head atop it all.
Lack of support, balance, and proper tonus in the DFL (as in the common pattern where short DFL myofascia does not allow the hip joint to open fully into extension) will produce overall shortening in the body, encourage collapse in the pelvic and spinal core, and lay the groundwork for negative compensatory adjustments in all the other lines we have decribed.

Testimony
Did the procedure hurt? No.
No. No pain during the water laser procedure. They numb you with a gel first so you don’t feel the local shots of anesthesia. I did not feel a thing and if you do they tell you to raise a hand. I never had to raise my hand, but if anyone does they just add more anesthesia. No problem.
When the drugs wear off, the sensation is similar to a bad ulcer.
Regardless, eat three meals a day and drink bone broth to calm your nerves and encourage healing through comfort.
How long is the procedure? 10 - 20 Minutes
How long does it take?
Total a hour and 20 minutes of your time for the appointment. The procedure alone lasted 10 minutes (including the time it took to numb the area). Afterwards you feel like you over stretched your tongue underneath and it feels sore for 2 to 7 days. You will have a follow up either the following week or in two weeks.
Did I notice any changes immediately? Yes.
Yes. On the table I felt a release, especially in my neck and my solar plexus (upper gut area). Not everyone is a geek like me when it comes to posture changes. Only a few clients told me they felt an immeidiate release in their whole body. Others felt their negative symptoms disappear within the week.
Everyone has different posture meridians that are effected by a tongue tie so you will feel releases differently, but gurgling will happen as you will have the Deep Front Line Meridian of muscles open up and give more space for blood flow.
Body changes I experienced? YES
My Neck:
I didn’t realize my whole life my neck was that tight until it unlocked. It felt like someone was squeezing my neck all my life and in one second they let go.
My Core Muscles:
My guts didn’t stop gurgling the whole day. I felt like I had space in my body and didn’t have to fidget to sit still.
Could Breathe Better:
My lungs had more space and I could move my head 180 degrees with out getting stuck! I could breath large amounts of air. I almost felt dizzy because of how much oxygen I got with every breath. It was amazing!
Left Hip & Knee Stopped Giving Out:
Due to my obsessive running habbits in college (12 to 15 miles of jogging a day) – my left knee developed scar tissue. Once the tongue tie release happened, I slowly felt my knee gain mobility with out hard scar tissue in the back of my knee. The nodule of “lumpiness” slowly went away over a month.

This brand allows you not to tear your hairs around your mouth off or make you feel lik you can’t open your mouth like duct tape.
Yes, you can breathe when your mouth is shut.
We just are not used to it.
Breathing through the nose is better than mouth breathing as the nose slows the air down, warms the air, cleans the air and filters it with small hairs. Taping your mouth shut is not a permanant thing, just until your body gets used to the new posture after the tongue tie procedure.
Directions: Use the tape below. It will train your tongue, face and whole body to switch to the new healthier posture!
